PROJECT: Mondelez x Food Grace “拾”出”友”愛同樂日

PROJECT DESCRIPTION:

Mondelez partnered with Food Grace to host a fun and meaningful family day for its staff and their family. The day kicked off with talk on food waste in Hong Kong, then volunteers were invited to participate in a cloth dying workshop where they dyed scarves into bright and vibrant colours using dye made from leftover food. After that, volunteers had the opportunity to visit food markets and help to collect unsellable but still edible food from the markets. Finally, after sorting and repackaging the food, volunteers were able to personally make a difference by giving the food to low income families and elderly in Tai Po.
